The Holy Empire of Réunion, a lusophone micronation established in
December 1996
and independent since August 1997, whose URL is http://www.reuniao.org is very
pleased
to inform its intentions on opening Diplomatic Relations with your respectable
micronation.
Réunion is interested in exchanging experiences and everlasting
friendship with
your nation, through a treaty of mutual cooperation, exchange of links and
ambassadors,
if so Your Government wishes.
The Holy Empire is a Constitutional Monarchy, currently governed by
Premier
Giuseppe Gatto di Veneto. More informations on our government can be found at

On regards to diplomatic and ex cathedra recognition, the Holy
Empire follows the
rules established by Imperial Decree 21-1997
<http://www.reuniao.org/judiciary/archive/decree21-97.htm> , edited on the Sixth
of
November of 1997 by HHIM Emperor Cláudio the First. After a severe analysis
from the
Director of Information of the Imperial Chancellery, we are joyous to inform
that such
requirements are met by Your Nation. Our Imperial Chancellery's website is
http://www.reuniao.org/chancellery (fully updated) and the Imperial Chancellor
is Sir
Wallace Rangel (chanceler@...).
Exceptionally, I, as Emperor of the Holy Empire, will be
performing the procedures
of recognition, since my admiration for your micronation has grown a lot since I
had the
time to visit and read all about it in your website.
Hence, we hereby OFFICIALLY RECOGNIZE THE MICRONATION OF
REPUBLIQUE DE
YDEMO AS A SOVEREIGN AND INDEPENDENT NATION, ITS CLAIMED TERRITORY AS
LEGITIMATE AND ITS GOVERNMENT AS LEGALLY EMPOWERED, offering to that honourable
nation a friendly hand and a classification under " STATUS B " of the Réunian
Diplomatic
Policy (http://www.reuniao.org/chancellery/).
If Your Government chooses to reciprocate this, the nation will
be added to Status
B. If not, it will be added to Status C of our diplomatic policy.


It will indeed be an overwhelming honour to count with the
official friendship of
the good people of your nation.
