Sir/Madam,
I would like to bring to your attention a stream I am organising for this year's
Critical Legal Conference as the University of Leicester (11–13 September 2009)
entitled "Revolutions in Natural Law". The aim is to rethink the link that has
been made since antiquity between the idea of "nature" and the notion of "law"
in its widest senses. I would therefore particularly like to invite papers that
would also address the genealogy of phusis, nature, and Being in parallel
relation to normativity, ethics, legality etc. If you would be interested in
presenting a paper, please contact me with an abstract before Friday 29 August
2009. As the conference takes place in English, I would be happy to aid in the
editing or translation of selected papers from French into English if necessary.
