Voici une série de rencontres autour de la danse contact improvisation proposé
par un nouveau collectif d'enseignant-e-s. Nous partageons l'envie
d'enseigner cette forme, nous voulons organiser des jams et d´autres
rencontres, et faciliter la pratique regulière de la danse contact
improvisation à Toulouse et dans la région.

Le contact improvisation peut se définir comme une danse-sport qui naît de
l'écoute et du contact physique entre deux ou plusieurs partenaires. C'est un
jeu d'exploration gestuel et sensoriel qui s'invente à chaque instant, prend
les qualités les plus variées, et demande à être vécu et partagé, tel un
dialogue. Née de l´exploration des forces physiques se jouant entre deux
corps en mouvement, cette pratique peut devenir relativement physique. Elle
puise alors sa force dans la finesse de nos perceptions et l'utilisation du
momentum. Proche des arts martiaux et des techniques d'éducation somatique,
sa pratique régulière enrichit la conscience corporelle, fait relâcher les
tensions inutiles et donne confiance, force et stabilité au corps en
mouvement. Elle permet aussi de redécouvrir le goût du jeu et ouvre à un tout
autre mode de communication. (I. Uski)

Les enseignant-e-s:

Nien Mari Chatz est danseuse , chorégraphe et pédagogue. Depuis 1983 elle
enseigne composition, éducation somatique et Contact Improvisation à l´Ecole
Nationale du Développement de la Danse Nouvelle à Amsterdam et ailleurs. Elle
a crée divers spectacles avec danseurs, musiciens et directeurs de film.

Loretta Ihme est psychologue. Elle s´intéresse au mouvement, au travail
corporel et à la théorie sociale critique. Sa formation en mouvement inclut
le tango argentin, le yoga, l´analyse du mouvement d'après Bartenieff, le
BMC, le Qi Gong et... la voile. Elle enseigne le contact improvisation en
Belgique et en France.

Daniel Mang est kinésitherapeute avec une formation ostéopathique. Il enseigne
Contact Improvisation depuis 1990. Sa formation en mouvement inclut l´Aikido,
Feldenkrais et BMC. Il voit son interêt en théorie sociale radicale et son
amour de contact improvisation comme deux manifestations d´un même désir.

Présentation :

La danse contact est une conversation physique entre partenaires, elle est basée
sur l’improvisation.

L’atelier se découpe en 2 parties ,

- La première partie, sous forme d’échauffement, développe la mobilité
spécifique

de chacun .

- La deuxième partie de l’atelier est consacrée au dialogue avec un ou plusieurs

partenaires. Elle est basée sur des improvisations dirigées.

contact improvisation
A way of dancing playfully with a partner,
grounded in physical sensation, which
investigates how to play through sharing touch
with the earth, with gravity and momentum, and
with others or simply the awareness of shared
space.

There are no "moves" to learn, it's more like a
moving puzzle. It has been variously described as
"an art sport", "a game or two with two winners"
and "a physical conversation". Doing it both
requires and nurtures a relaxed, open and curious
state of mind and body. People with a
professional or personal interest in being 'in
their bodies' find it a way to explore what that
means. And it's fun too!

Informations complémentaires (importantes):

Le jam aura lieu dans un dojo d’aikido. Il y a la possibilité de dormir sur
place si nécessaire. Il y a une cuisine et un marché pas loin du dojo le
dimanche matin. Pour les repas, on organisera un buffet permanent (au lieu de
repas communs à horaires fixes). Alors apporte quelque chose pour le samedi
après-midi et soir, s’il te plaît !
On organisera les courses pour le buffet de dimanche lors d’un meeting
d’organisation qui aura lieu samedi soir.
Si tu arrives vendredi déjà et si tu as besoin d’un endroit pour dormir,
contacte-moi, il y a de la place pour quelques gens dans notre appartement
(apporte sac de couchage et matelas).
Je vais demander quelques musiciens de venir improviser avec nous, mais ce n’est
pas encore sûr si ça va marcher. Si tu joues un instrument et tu as envie
d’improviser avec la jam, super, apporte ton instrument! Pour la musique sur cd
etc on verra ensemble, mais en tout cas sur cette jam il y aura des longues
périodes d’improvisation sans musique.

Cette jam pourrait aussi être un lieu pour un meeting de gens qui ont envie de
contribuer à la création d’un festival de contact improvisation en France.

EMPTYING, LANDING, SOARING
An intensive Improvisation / Contact Improvisation
workshop


Focusing on:
gravity/levity - relaxation/activity -
center/periphery - the spine and the senses


We begin by arriving in the space physically,
emotionally and mentally, alone, in pairs and
collectively. To be ready for the present moment, we
empty ouselves so that we can learn and receive,
explore and experience, give and take. We build a
connection with our body on a deeper level, we let go
and relax fully into a spacious sense of time which
allows for various activities to come into play, we
explore gravity and the inner energy which comes from
our center and moves through our whole body right to
the periphery. We will spend special attention to the
relationship of the head/tail connection and
strengthen the relationship of the center to the
extremities of the body so that our take-offs and
landings and our travelling through space are all
brave, smooth and safe. Breath, relaxation and letting
go is directly connected to being grounded and
centered while moving dynamically.
Each day we will practice a specific Contact skill and
work with enlivening the senses so that we can be
really open to finding immediate creative solutions.
Tuning, toning and enlivening our entire being,
creates a state of readiness which leads us to fuller,
vibrant, connected dancing. We can then enjoy the
richness of our dancing alone, in pairs and as a
group. We will also have oppportunities to perform for
each other, to view, discuss and share the work at
hand.

BIOGRAPHIES
Andrew de Lotbinière Harwood is the artistic director
of AH HA Productions, a project-oriented company based
in Montreal which focuses on improvisation as a
performing art. Harwood has been creating dances,
improvising, teaching and performing at home and
abroad for 30 years. He has gained an international
reputation as an outstanding teacher in the field of
improvisation, most notablty in Contact Improvisation.
His works has been presented in numerous international
festivals since 1980 (The Improvisation Festival in
New York, The Bates Dance Festival in Maine, Festival
Buhnenwerstaat in Graz, Festival La Biennale in
Venice, Festival de nouvelle danse in Montreal,
Impulstanz Festival in Vienna, Festival Montpellier,
Canada Dance Festival in Ottawa, Festival Les
Antipodes in Brest). He has danced with the companies
of Fulcrum, Jo Lechay, Marie Chouinard and Jean-Pierre
Perreault and has performed with Steve Paxton, Nancy
Stark Smith, Peter Bingham, Chris Aiken, Kirstie
Simson, Marc Boivin, Julyen Hamilton, Benoit Lachambre
and many others. His piece for ten men entitled
Ani*mâles was co-produced by Danse-Cité  in November
2002 and was presented to critical acclaim at the
Monument National in Montreal. His new piece The Five
Movements was produced in Montreal in February 2005 at
the Société des arts technologiques. It brought
together 17 artists including renowned Canadian
choreographers and performers Ginette Laurin, Marc
Béland, Pierre-Paul Savoie, Lin Snelling and
Pierre-Paul Savoie.


Judit Keri is a Hungarian actor, dancer and an
experienced english and german speaking teacher in
dance, theatre, yoga and meditation since 1996. She
finished her education in Hungary and studied in a
number of major European cities (Amsterdam at SNDO,
Vienna at ImpulsTanz, Paris, Stockholm, Tel Aviv) with
the following teachers : Katie Duck, Martin Keogh,
Kirstie Simson, Andrew de L.Harwood, Ray Chung, Frey
Faust, Kurt Koegel, Chris Aiken, Cirus Chambatta,
Keith Hennesey, Dieter Heitkamp, Carol Swann, Arie
Burstein and Diane Elliot. She participated in various
festivals and seminars such as: Nordic Improv Meeting
in Helsinki, Contact Festival Israel,   Contact
Budapest, ECITE at Findhorn., From Jamming to
Performing in Sweden, Contact and Therapy in Israel
and the New York Improvisation Festival.   She has
been teaching children, young adults, adults, older
people and handicapped people in Hungary, Vienna,
Italy, at Movendy in Amsterdam, Royal   Conservatory
in Den Hague, and Susan Dalal Center in Tel Aviv,
among other places.   She co-organized the Budapest
Contact Festival 2004 and the Sonic Acts Festival at
Paradiso in Amsterdam 2001. She has performed Send me
Sinking by Kristof Persin (Amsterdam 2002), Bear is
Bear with Aviv Ivgi (Tel Aviv 2004), a site-specific
solo at the Dead Sea (Israel 2004) with Andrew
Harwood, Chris Aiken and Patricia Kuypers (Brussells
2005), and in various street performances in Helsinki,
Budapest and Stockholm.

Informations complémentaires (importantes):

Le jam aura lieu dans un dojo d'aikido. Il y a la possibilité de
dormir sur place si nécessaire. Il y a une cuisine et un marché pas
loin du dojo le dimanche matin. Pour les repas, on organisera un
buffet permanent (au lieu de repas communs à horaires fixes). Alors
apporte quelque chose pour le samedi après-midi et soir, s'il te plaît !
On organisera les courses pour le buffet de dimanche lors d'un meeting
d'organisation qui aura lieu samedi soir.
Si tu arrives vendredi déjà et si tu as besoin d'un endroit pour
dormir, contacte-moi, il y a de la place pour quelques gens dans notre
appartement (apporte sac de couchage et matelas).
Je vais demander quelques musiciens de venir improviser avec nous,
mais ce n'est pas encore sûr si ça va marcher. Si tu joues un
instrument et tu as envie d'improviser avec la jam, super, apporte ton
instrument! Pour la musique sur cd etc on verra ensemble, mais en tout
cas sur cette jam il y aura des longues périodes d'improvisation sans
musique.

Cette jam pourrait aussi être un lieu pour un meeting de gens qui ont
envie de contribuer à la création d'un festival de contact
improvisation en France. Alors, si ça t'intéresse, apporte tes idées...

voici un appel a toute idée, aide, pour la creation de ce festival
un petit resumé de ce qui a deja été echangé, dans un premier temps
organiser une grande jams de 3 jours avec quelques intervenant qui
donnerait des ateliers et puis en fin des 3 jours des performances...
cela pourrait avoir lieu a la campagne dans un endroit facile d'acces
ou bien avec la possibilité dèorganiser des navettes depuis une gares,
une idée a été soulevé de louer des chapiteaux un pour danser, l'autre
pour dormir,...
cela pourrait avoir lieu en juin prochain... pour ensuite faire grandir
l'evenement.
Si vous connaissez des lieux, si vous savez bien faire a manger( pour
50 personnes) si vous vous sentez l'esprit d'organisation, alors
rejoignez nous,.... tout le monde est bienvenue.

This Jam is the beginning of the monthly LunatiContact "Full Moon
Events" which includes lessons, performances, full moon party and
Jams.


17 - 18 Setember: International Jam
We will meet in Amelia at "CASA DEL SOLE", via Aldo Moro 85/A on
Saturday the 17th at 9.30 a.m.
After the registration the 2 days Jam will start. Eckhard Mueller
(Germany) and Daniela Schwartz (Argentina) will guide the warm up.

Costs:
35 euro until the 10th of September (45 euro after this date)

Includes:
Lunch and Dinner on Saturday + overnight
Breakfast and lunch on Sunday.

What to bring:
Sleeping bag, mattress and pillow. There is place also for some tents.
For accommodations in double rooms we will ask for 5 Euro extra per
person. Need to reserve.
If you want to arrive the day before there is place to sleep paying 8
euro

Suite au message de Jean, j'ai essayé d'ouvrir la fonction ajout de
fichiers ( photos textes etc).
je suis Benoit, sur Paris, et comme j'ai ouvert la liste j'ai ce
statut. Je pense que le statut de moderateur sert principalement à
controler le spam. Si d'autres personnes veulent acceder à cette

Les groupes yahoo fonctionnent bien en allemagne, finlande et dans des
villes comme boston ou new york, donc je pense que c'est interessant
de tenter l'experience ici.

le yahoogroup (ok il faut un compte yahoo...) ne
fait pas partie d'un groupe ou d'une association, c'est quelque chose
d'ouvert et de reactif,  communautaire à l'image de ce qui se passe
chez nos voisins.

Il ne depend pas du travail ou de la gestion d'une personne ou d'un
groupe, ou des connaissances personnelles de la personne voulant
savoir ce qui se passe ici.
Il n'est pas affilié à un site necessitant une mise en ligne et une
edition.
Un exemple, pour les jams d'été à Paris qui avaient lieux 3 fois par
semaine, j'etais informé par bouche à oreille ou par mails forwardés.
c'est fort sympathique mais peu ouvert pour des personnes exterieures.

  Le yahoo group, c'est une adresse email à qui envoyer une info, une
annonce de stage, un jam, une performance etc et celle ci est
diffusée aux membre du groupe.
voila tout, rien de politique là dessous mais une recherche de
l'efficacité.
